In October 2022, in a tiny cottage somewhere in the wilds of North Yorkshire, Rebecca Denniff had an idea. Every month in 2023, she would create a piece of music from the dark heart that lies within the land she loves. David Owen was delighted to get involved, and this small idea led to the release of a twelve-minute track for every month in 2023. These tracks have returned to Rebecca’s control after a long, dark time, and now all monies derived from them will finally go straight to the artist.

As Rebecca once sang, in another life, “there is a darkness the whole world over”. Sometimes ghosts can return to set things straight. And the land always remembers.
